Role Overview
With tremendous adoption from the developer community, we’re looking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build and scale our Outbound Sales Development team. This role will play an integral part in building the Sales Development organization from the ground up, working alongside our Founders, GTM Executives, and our Enterprise Sales team.
This role requires ownership of the entire outbound sales motion as well as responsibility for driving top-of-funnel growth for our sales pipeline. You will be responsible for engaging potential customers, qualifying leads, and scheduling meetings for our enterprise sales executives. The role requires a deep technical understanding and curiosity to serve as a trusted advisor to prospective customers.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, prospect, and outreach to qualified enterprise accounts, with the ultimate goal of setting up introductory meetings for the Enterprise Sales team
Research ICP customers accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Koala, and other platforms. Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, and social media.
Engage prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with CodeRabbit’s AI-Powered Coder Review platform
Become a product expert and understand all components of CodeRabbit
Relentlessly focus on solving customer needs and challenges by effectively communicating specific benefits of CodeRabbit through sales discussions
Collect and share product insights from prospect feedback with our GTM Team to improve messaging, positioning, and product offerings as well as Product/Engineering teams to improve the product experience
Achieve or exceed targets for qualified meetings, opportunities generated, and other sales pipeline metrics
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Have at least 2+ years of sales, customer service, or a similar role selling developer tech
Be highly empathetic to customers, while demonstrating a curiosity to help with solving their problems
Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work-ethic and entrepreneurial mindset; being self-directed and resourceful
Comfortable working quickly and efficiently, confident dealing with ambiguity, and desire to help shape our Sales Development playbook
A relentless pursuit to constantly learn and improve through coaching and collaboration
Being enthusiastic about making a large impact early on at a start-up
Bonus:
Familiarity with AI, developer, and open source technologies
Have experience in a Product Led Growth (PLG) company
